1) A site received 419 visits on 3 of its links, there were 145 hits on “Contact us”, 11 visitors hit all the 3 links, while “FAQ” and “Home” links had the same no of hits. 2 visitors hit “Contact” and “Home”; 11 visitors hit “FAQ” and “ Home” and another 11 “FAQ” and “contact”
Then there were 4 questions
A) How many visited the FAQ link
B) How many visited the FAQ link only
C) How many visited the Contact us on
1) A site received 419 visits on 3 of its links, there were 145 hits on “Contact us”, 11 visitors hit all
Let C, F and H represent the number of hits on Contacts, FAQ and Home, respectively. Now, write out the equations from the given information:
C = 145
F = H = (419-145)/2 = 137
We also know that, of those who hit Contacts, 11 hit both other links, 2 hit Home but not FAQ, and 11 hit FAQ but not home. Subtracting these from 145 gets 145-11-2-11 = 121 visitors hitting only Contacts.
Similarly, there are 137-11-11-11 = 104 visitors who hit only FAQ.
Finally, there are 137-11-2-11 = 113 visitors who only hit Home.

Could Asatru take the place of Bible based religion?
THE ASATRU FOLK ASSEMBLY: ASATRU FAQ
Copyright (C) 1995 by Stephen A. McNallen
Excerpted for education purposes.
Long before Christianity came to northern Europe, the people there -
our ancestors - had their own religions. One of these was Asatru. It
was practiced in the lands that are today Scandinavia, England,
Germany, France, the Netherlands, and neighboring areas. Asatru is
the original or native religious belief for the peoples who lived in
these regions.
WHAT DOES THE WORD "ASATRU" MEAN?
It means, roughly, "belief in the Gods" in Old Norse, the language of
ancient Scandinavia in which so much of our source material was
written. Asatru is the name by which the Norsemen called their
religion.
WHEN DID ASATRU START?
Asatru is thousands of years old. Its beginnings are lost in
prehistory, but it is older than Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, or
most other religions. The spiritual impulses it expresses are as
ancient as the European peoples themselves - at least forty thousand
years, and perhaps much older.
WHY DO WE NEED ASATRU? AREN'T MOST PEOPLE WHO WANT RELIGION SATISFIED
WITH CHRISTIANITY OR ONE OF THE OTHER "ESTABLISHED" RELIGIONS?
People are attracted to the better-known religions because they have
genuine spiritual needs which must be filled. People are looking for
community and for answers to the "big questions": What life is all
about, and how we should live it. For many people today, the
so-called major faiths do not have answers that work. Asatru has
answers, but it has not been an alternative for most seekers because
they haven't known about it. Once they realize that there is another
way - a better, more natural, more honorable way - they will not be
satisfied with anything less than a return to the religion of their
ancestors.
WHY IS THE RELIGION OF OUR ANCESTORS THE BEST ONE FOR US?
Because we are more like our ancestors than we are like anyone else.
We inherited not only their general physical appearance, but also
their predominant mental, emotional, and spiritual traits. We think
and feel more like they did; our basic needs are most like theirs.
The religion which best expressed their innermost nature - Asatru - is
better suited to us than are the Middle Eastern religions which arose
among people who are essentially different from us. Christianity,
Islam, and Judaism are alien religions which do not truly speak to our
souls.
Could Asatru take the place of Bible based religion?
It has in my heart, I'm an Asatruar.
Reply:I doubt it could take the place of bible based religions. A simple moral code including tolerance, and simple obvious golden rule type laws would probally fare better (don't kill, don't sleep with another mans wife, dont steal, contribute to the good of society, etc).
Religion in general seems to be loosing a battle to science and human self reliance.
Reply:It doesn't take a whole lot beyond having a charismatic leader with time and enough needy people to get a religion going.

Pregnancy test-negative??
I just took an Early Response pregnancy test. There was only 1 line and there is nothing else, not even a faint line. It shows as a negative result. I'm confused b/c the FAQ's on the instructions says "A positive result will last for at least 48 hours. A negative result should not be read after 10 minutes." I took the test about an hour and a half ago and the 1 negative line is still showing clear as day. What does that mean?
Pregnancy test-negative??
Sometimes what's called an "evaporation line" will show up after the 10 minutes, making what is really a negative look like a false positive. You shouldn't read the test after the recommended time limit because it is no longer accurate.
Reply:It means your not pregnant. It says not to read after 10 minutes cuz after time a line could faintly appear. Take another test in a day or so.
Reply:The instructions do not say that the negative line will disapear. The negative line will probably still be there tomorrow if you check it. It was talking about an evaportion line that may appear and give you a false reading after ten minutes.

What the difference in pointe shoe 6.5 Adult:B or 6.5 Adult:C/D/E and so on?
I'm trying to buy a pare from dancewear solutions, but they dont seem to have an FAQ page on shoes. so someone help please? =]
What the difference in pointe shoe 6.5 Adult:B or 6.5 Adult:C/D/E and so on?
The letters are the size of the box. You should buy from a web site though, unless you have tried the shoe on in advance. Go to a local dance store and try on the right pair of shoes, if they are too expensive at the stores (they usually are like $20 more) then remember the brand and size and then go order them online.
Reply:The B C D and E are all widths. I wouldnt buy my pointe shoes online if i didnt know exactly what size i was. you should go get properly fitted and then buy then online if you are happy with the shoes you get. It would not be good if you got the wrong size. You can permenantly hurt yourself if you get the wrong size. Please go get fitted first.
Reply:it's the width of you foot
Reply:It is the width of the shoe. B is typically narrow or medium, and obviously C, D, and E are larger.
You need to be getting pointe shoes professionally fitted if you are not understanding the letters or sizing. Pointe shoe sizes are also not like street shoe. They are usually 2 to 2 1/2 sizes smaller than your street shoe.
I recommend getting them professionally fitted for your safety and comfort. You also should not be en pointe unless directed by a teacher. I cannot stress that enough.
Please go to a shop near you and have employees help you get fitted. It shouldn't take too long and you will find out all you need to know for taking care of them and buying them in the future!
Reply:number is length and letters are width
Reply:You should really get fitted in stores. The process takes up to an hour and you try about 10 shoes on, or until you find the perfect fit.
Letters A-E are width.
Reply:the letters all stand for different things like how wide the shoe is or how long. its just a way of describing the different styles so the ppl fitting u can match ur foot so it fits nice n snug

This is a U.C. Berkeley School Experiment on Exponential growth! Participation is appreciated.?
According to the laws of exponential growth. a constant 1% growth rate doubles a population in 70 years, and a constant 2% growth rate doubles a population in 35 years. This explains how our global population of 3 billion in 1960 doubled to 6 billion by 1999.
Our Professor has set us up with the tast to go to the Yahoo Answers community and ask 1 person to tell 2 people to visit this school project, then make sure you follow up with those two people who will each tell 2 more. If this is successful we will be able to publish our thesis.

After you tell two people respond with a comment saying the number "2" then follow up with those to write "2" also.
let's have fun and see what happens!

Why do Kampgrounds of America (KOA Kampgrounds) like to spell things with a "K" instead of with a "C"?
KOA spells Kamping Kabins® and Kamping Kottages® with a K. I read through the history of the organization (http://koapressroom.com/companyinformati... ) and the Frequently Asked Questions on the website (http://koa.com/feedback/contactus_faq.ht... ) as well as searched the site and I could not find any information for this phenomenon.
Is there some story as to why the "C" is replaced with "K" in these words?
Why do Kampgrounds of America (KOA Kampgrounds) like to spell things with a "K" instead of with a "C"?
The little symbol after Kabins and Kottages says it all. It's a registered trademark of that business. It's a unique spelling that matches the company name.
Reply:it's a marketing ploy. It gets your attention. Whoever thought of it is a genius as everyone knows now a days what a KOA is.
Reply:To capture your attention and to distinguish themselves
from ANY old "campground of America."
Everybody knows what a KOA is, but not everybody
knows what the monogram stands for.
Reply:Because they thought of it first. It gets attention and one does not forget who they are and they are nationally recognized by their name. Its called marketing and for them it's working quite well don't you think?

Can someone suggest a good C programming FAQ website with correct answers......?
Try the reference URL below. I know it says "C++" in the URL, but they cover all the C stuff as well. You might also look at the second URL and see if there is a free download book on C by Bruce Eckels. His book on C++ has a pretty good chapter on C as a primer to C++ that might work for you, too.
